In this project, I was told to create deliverables in three formats which shows Vargas vs Smith for their fight in Las Vegas, later changed to Arizona. Since this was my first time designing in a corporate environment, how I normally designed was different. Normally I would just execute and complete the design, but I had to create a moodboard with a different range of ideas.
What I was asked to achieve was to create impactful posters that both boxing fans and the general public would understand and want to watch the fight. Additionally, I was told to create a narrative behind the posters I made. In this case, I produced 4 ideas; Dos Gigantes, Demons Awaken, Fire vs Ice and Gear Up For The Next Battle.
After much deliberation of deciding which would be the best poster for the event. I decided to go for Dos Gigantes since it matches the tone, I felt fitting to the fighters since they are big names in the boxing scene. The thought process behind this was poster was to make it like a Red Dead Redemption loading screen since the game focuses heavily on the flashy, vibrant aesthetic in which I placed the fighters together on the side and the fighting grounds being Las Vegas as the centre stage.
